Following the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology (PTIT) and the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) in April 2026, PTIT held a working session on June 16 with a KCCI delegation and professors from Korean universities to discuss and implement specific cooperation activities in the field of high-quality technology human resource development.
Attending the program, the Korean delegation included Prof. Rheem Jae Yeol and Prof. Kang Hyeong Ju (Korea University of Technology and Education – KOREATECH), Prof. Cho Dae Chul (Soonchunhyang University), and Mr. Ho Quang Anh, Head of Operations at KCCI HRD Center Vietnam. Representing PTIT were Dr. Nguyen Viet Hung, Deputy Head of the Office of Science, Technology and International Cooperation; Dr. Do Trung Anh, Deputy Head of the Office of Science, Technology and International Cooperation and Director of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center; Dr. Chu Van Ben, Faculty of Electronics Engineering 1 and Director of the Advanced Semiconductor Integrated Circuit Training Center, along with representatives from research groups and related laboratories.

The meeting focused on concretizing cooperation programs in training, selection, and development of technical human resources in the fields of electrical engineering, electronics, semiconductors, and industrial technologies — the key cooperation areas established in the MoU between the two parties.

Overview of the working session
Within the framework of the program, both sides discussed the development of specialized training programs, including Korean language courses and Korean corporate culture training, to ensure a close connection between academic knowledge and the practical needs of Korean enterprises, particularly in semiconductor design. This is considered an important step toward standardizing training programs, enhancing professional competencies, and improving international integration capabilities for PTIT students.
The KCCI delegation and Korean professors also conducted site visits to PTIT’s laboratories, facilities, and research spaces, including technology labs related to semiconductors. Through these visits and practical exchanges, the partners gained a clearer understanding of PTIT’s training and research capacity as well as its technology development orientation.
