On March 29, 2024, the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology (PTIT) welcomed Pro. Ahmed Mehaoua, the Vice Dean of the School of Mathematics and Computer Science at the University of Paris (UoP), to discuss potential collaboration opportunities.
The attendees from PTIT included representatives from the Center for International Education (CIE), Faculty of Information Technology 1, Faculty of Electronics and Telecommunications 1, and Faculty of Telecommunications 1.
During the discussion, UoP proposed collaboration with PTIT in postgraduate training activities, offering sponsorship programs and scholarships. Professor Ahmed Mehaoua also mentioned that UoP has a department researching the fields of “AI for Cybersecurity and Data Science”.
The University of Paris is one of the oldest and most prestigious universities in France, established in 1150. The university offers a wide range of disciplines including engineering, health sciences, and social sciences. The bachelor’s and master’s programs at the School of Mathematics and Computer Science at the University of Paris focus on areas such as applied mathematics, computer science, cryptography, and cybersecurity.
