From September 29 to October 1, 2026, a delegation from the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology (PTIT), led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dang Hoai Bac, President of PTIT, participated in activities within the framework of the Vietnam – Korea Digital Forum, the Global Start-up Design Thinking Hackathon Day at Chung-Ang University, and a working session with the College of Engineering, Seoul National University (SNU).
The series of activities contributed to strengthening PTIT’s connections with Korean agencies, organizations, and educational institutions, while expanding cooperation in education and training, scientific research, innovation, and support for the Vietnamese community in the Republic of Korea.
Transferring Vietnamese Language Learning Application Accounts to the Embassy of Vietnam in the Republic of Korea
As part of the working program, representatives of the Ministry of Science and Technology and PTIT visited and held a working session at the Embassy of Vietnam in Seoul, Republic of Korea.

At the ceremony, representatives of PTIT officially presented and transferred user accounts for the Vietnamese language learning support application to the Embassy of Vietnam in the Republic of Korea. Developed and researched by PTIT, the application is designed to support the Vietnamese community, Vietnamese – Korean multicultural families, and Korean friends interested in learning Vietnamese, enabling them to access the language in a convenient, modern, and effective way.
Representatives of the Embassy acknowledged and highly appreciated the application’s practical significance, noting its contribution to promoting Vietnamese culture, preserving the Vietnamese language, and strengthening people-to-people exchanges between the two countries.

PTIT Students Confidently Competing on the International Entrepreneurship Stage
At Chung-Ang University (CAU), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dang Hoai Bac and the PTIT delegation attended the opening ceremony of the Global Start-up Design Thinking Hackathon Day. This year’s competition brought together 60 students from 15 countries, divided into 15 interdisciplinary and multicultural teams. PTIT was represented by six students participating in the competition.

As part of the competition, teams applied Design Thinking methodologies to address challenges in digital technology, including games, smart applications, animation, and multimedia communications. The participants also developed Business Models and presented and defended their startup ideas in English before an international judging panel.
Meeting, visiting, and encouraging PTIT students directly, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dang Hoai Bac recognized their proactive spirit, adaptability, and innovative thinking, while encouraging them to confidently engage with international students, learn from their experiences, and gain further practical experience in a multicultural environment.

Expanding Research and Training Cooperation with Seoul National University
As part of the working program with the Ministry of Science and Technology, the PTIT delegation held a working session with the College of Engineering, Seoul National University. The delegation was received by Professor Kim Young-Oh, Dean of the College of Engineering, SNU.

During the working session, representatives of the two sides discussed orientations for cooperation in research and education, focusing on the implementation of joint scientific research programs; co-supervision of Master’s and PhD students; and exchanges of lecturers and doctoral researchers.
The discussions opened opportunities to strengthen connections among PTIT’s lecturers, scientists, and students with the international research environment at SNU, contributing to the enhancement of advanced research capacity and promoting postgraduate education cooperation.
The working visit to the Republic of Korea further expanded PTIT’s international network while creating additional opportunities for concrete cooperation in research, education and training, innovation, and technology applications serving the community. Through these activities, PTIT continues to strengthen its role as a technology-oriented higher education institution in the process of international integration and in connecting Vietnamese knowledge with the world.
