Recently, in Hanoi, the “Vietnam Semiconductor Industry Exhibition 2024 – SEMIExpo Vietnam 2024”, themed “Elevating Vietnam in the Global Semiconductor Supply Chain,” officially opened at the NIC Hòa Lạc campus. Taking place over two days (November 7-8), SEMIExpo Vietnam 2024 is Vietnam’s first and largest international-scale semiconductor exhibition. The event was organized by the Ministry of Planning and Investment, assigned to the National Innovation Center (NIC), in collaboration with the Global Semiconductor Alliance (SEMI).
This inaugural exhibition in Vietnam attracted over 5,000 delegates and 100 booths from leading technology partners in the semiconductor sector, such as Cadence, Qualcomm, Intel, Qorvo, Dassault Systèmes, Siemens, Tektronix, FPT, and Viettel. Numerous stakeholders in the semiconductor ecosystem also participated, including research institutes, universities, investment funds, enterprises, organizations, associations, and both domestic and international experts in the field.
SEMIExpo Vietnam 2024 featured various seminars, forums, and networking events, aiming to connect Vietnam with the global semiconductor industry. As one of the five universities entrusted by the Prime Minister to develop high-quality human resources for the semiconductor industry, PTIT’s leadership, faculty, and students also participated in the exhibition.
