On April 4th, 2023, the signing ceremony for the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Research Institute of Posts and Telecommunications (RIPT), Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology (PTIT) and the Intellectual Property Innovation (IPI) from Republic of Korea took place at PTIT’s Hanoi campus.
Attending the ceremony from the PTIT’s side there were Assoc. Prof. Quoc Dung Ngo, Acting Director of the Research Institute of Posts and Telecommunications and representatives from related departments; while from the side of IPI, there were Mr. Hak-Pyun Moo, COO, Mr. Hong-Il Lee, General Manager and representatives from related units.
According to the MOU, both parties committed to implementing cooperative activities such as student mobility and internship programs for Korean labor market, joint activities for research projects, joint activities for increasing employability of students the Korean job market and other cooperative activities of mutual interest.
At the ceremony, both parties expressed expectations that this signing event would open up opportunities for study and scientific research for faculty and students, contributing significantly to the development of both sides.
Established in 1996, the IPI is a reputable organization with extensive experience in patent analysis, patent search, consulting, and building patent databases. Currently, the IPI has been selected as a New Technology Research Institute, the Korea Industrial Technology Association, an Industrial Property Rights Analysis Institute, the Korea Invention Promotion Association, participated in the national patent information R&D business and became a member company of the Korea Patent Information Association.
