On July 4, 2026, the Faculty of Information Security at the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology (PTIT) organized a specialized talk, followed by the closing ceremony and certificate presentation for participants who successfully completed the course “Applied AI and Machine Learning for Network and Information Security,” taught by Assoc. Prof. Igor Ushakov.

After five days of intensive study covering Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and their applications in information security, the program concluded with a special talk that provided students with an opportunity to engage directly with the expert on emerging technology trends, challenges in information security, and future research and development directions in the context of digital transformation.

During the interactive session, students raised a wide range of questions regarding the application of AI in cyberattack detection and prevention, network traffic analysis, anomaly detection, and the future development of information security. The discussions offered valuable insights into both current industry practices and emerging technological trends.

Speaking at the event, representatives of the Faculty of Information Security expressed their sincere appreciation to Assoc. Prof. Igor Ushakov for his valuable contributions to the course. They also highlighted the significant benefits the program brought to students through its combination of academic knowledge, practical experience, and hands-on training.

On this occasion, the Faculty of Information Security held a certificate presentation ceremony for students who successfully completed the course. The certificates not only recognize the participants’ dedication and commitment throughout the program but also mark an important milestone in their acquisition of knowledge and practical skills in applying AI and Machine Learning to information security.

The successful completion of the “Applied AI and Machine Learning for Network and Information Security” course has provided students with valuable opportunities to explore cutting-edge technologies, broaden their research perspectives, and strengthen their ability to apply AI in the field of information security.
