On February 4th, 2026, at Hanoi campus, Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology (PTIT) proudly hosted a distinguished delegation from the Connected Universal Experiences Labs (CUE), Asia Pacific-Latin America. The visit, featuring Dr. Xun Luo, Director of CUE as the lead of the delegation, marks a significant milestone in PTIT’s mission to expand its international academic and technological footprint, particularly bridging the gap between Vietnam and the Latin American region.

The core of the discussions centered on the ambitious development of joint research and pilot projects, specifically focusing on the cutting-edge fields of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Digital Twin technologies. Both parties expressed a deep commitment to moving beyond theoretical frameworks to implement real-world applications. By integrating CUE Labs’ global expertise with PTIT’s robust technical infrastructure, these projects aim to create innovative solutions for smart city management and telecommunications optimization, ensuring that both Vietnam and its partners remain at the forefront of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

Recognizing that human capital is the driver of all technological progress, the meeting also prioritized the creation of capacity-building programs. The CUE Labs delegation also spent time touring PTIT’s research and training facilities and equipment. The delegation highly appreciated PTIT’s efforts in investing in technological infrastructure to create a favorable research and learning environment for students and faculty, as well as facilitating the implementation of international conferences and seminars.
