Recently, a delegation of administrators, faculty members, and students from the Fukuoka Institute of Technology (FIT), Japan, led by Professor Kimura Tomiya, visited the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology (PTIT) for meetings, academic exchanges, and student interactions. The delegation was received by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ngo Quoc Dung, Vice Director in charge of the Institute of Postal and Telecommunications Science and Engineering (a unit under PTIT), along with representatives of PTIT’s leadership and relevant departments and functional units.
In his remarks at the program, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ngo Quoc Dung emphasized that the exchange marked an important milestone in the cooperative relationship between the two institutions, while also opening up valuable opportunities for students from both sides to continue interacting, learning, and developing together. He further noted:
“PTIT and FIT have actively engaged in online discussions on innovative and highly applicable ideas and problem-solving projects undertaken by our students. These projects not only demonstrate students’ professional competencies but also clearly reflect the spirit of effective collaboration between PTIT and FIT. I believe that, with guidance from faculty members and the dedication of the students themselves, these ideas will soon be transformed into practical and valuable products.”
Representing FIT, Professor Kimura Tomiya introduced FIT’s academic programs as well as its learning and research environment. He expressed his hope that, building on FIT’s strengths, future cooperation between the two institutions would enable PTIT students to directly participate in research activities at FIT.

Overview of the working session
Subsequently, students from PTIT and FIT will participate in joint classes, thematic seminars, hands-on experiential activities, as well as cultural exchange programs to explore and better understand the cultures of Vietnam and Japan. In addition, students will collaborate on group projects to apply their academic knowledge to real-world challenges.
