On September 23, 2025, the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology (PTIT) held the 2025 Viettel Research Excellence Scholarship award ceremony for 05 graduate students with outstanding achievements in study and research. Attending the ceremony were Dr. Nguyen Trung Kien, Vice President of the Institute, along with representatives of the leadership from various faculties, offices, and functional departments.
Accordingly, the President of the Institute decided to award scholarships to 5 students from the Computer Science class of 2024, including: Nguyen Thi Uyen, Luong Duc Thuan, Nguyen Quang Huy, Tran Quang Hiep, and Dang Quang Dung. Each scholarship is worth 50 million VND, sponsored by the Military Industry-Telecommunications Group (Viettel).

Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Nguyen Trung Kien, Vice President of PTIT, extended his congratulations to the 05 outstanding students honored to receive the 2025 scholarship. The Vice President expressed his expectation that the students would continue to nurture their passion, strive in their studies and research, and constantly improve to maximize their potential and aspirations. Dr. Nguyen Trung Kien emphasized that as the country enters a period of promoting industrialization, modernization, and deep international integration, high-quality human resources play a decisive role. Therefore, the Institute always accompanies and commits to creating the most favorable conditions for students to focus on their studies, develop, and contribute their intellect to the country’s science and technology development.

Representing the scholarship recipients, student Luong Duc Thuan emotionally expressed his gratitude to the teachers and the Military Industry-Telecommunications Group for their practical care and support for students, emphasizing: “The scholarship is not just a reward, but also a motivation for us to strive even harder, affirm ourselves, and contribute to the development of science and technology.”
The 2025 “Viettel Research Excellence Scholarship” talent program is implemented based on the cooperation agreement between the Institute and the Military Industry-Telecommunications Group (Viettel). The program aims to provide financial support so that talented students have excellent conditions for study and research, helping them perfect their personal capabilities and apply technology to solve practical social problems. This activity demonstrates the efforts of the Institute and Viettel in developing high-quality human resources for the country, especially personnel in the field of digital technology.
