2025 marks a “golden season” of abundant achievements for students of the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology (PTIT). From technology hubs like Silicon Valley (USA), Sydney (Australia) to Moscow (Russia) and Taiwan (China), the red PTIT uniform has continuously appeared on the highest podiums, affirming that Vietnamese intelligence is in no way inferior to its international peers.

New “Kings” in the Informatics and Information Security Arena

Opening this impressive series of achievements is the resounding victory of the Information Security team at the M*CTF 2025 competition held in Moscow, the Russian Federation. Overcoming dozens of formidable competitors from leading cybersecurity nations, the PTIT students brilliantly secured the absolute championship title. This victory not only affirms the high-quality training provided by PTIT but also demonstrates the sharp thinking and exceptional ability of Vietnamese students to withstand immense pressure in real-world cyberattack and defense scenarios.

At the 2025 ICPC Asia Jakarta Regional Contest (November 23, 2025), PTIT students won a Silver Medal in Indonesia – their highest achievement ever at the ICPC International competition. This earned them a ticket to the Asia Pacific Championship Finals.

Proud Achievements in the “Technology Capitals” of the USA and Australia

In the USA, the MOS World Championship 2025 witnessed a historic moment when PTIT students excelled, surpassing contestants from nearly 100 countries to win the World Championship (Gold Medal). This achievement further affirms PTIT’s leading position in the use of internationally standardized digital tools.

Particularly noteworthy, 2025 also marked a brilliant milestone in Australia with the Coding Fest 2025 event (Sydney, Australia). There, PTIT teams achieved an impressive “double win” in the prestigious “Excellence in Technology for Social Good Award” category, winning one First Prize and one Second Prize. The fluent English and problem-solving skills using technology demonstrated by PTIT students completely impressed experts from Google and Atlassian.

Innovation Without Borders: Korea and the ASEAN Region

The deep cooperation with Korea has propelled PTIT students’ AI project in healthcare to win the Grand Prize at the PTIT-CAU Joint Hackathon 2025. Furthermore, at regional forums such as the ASEAN Youth Innovation 2025, students’ ideas on clean energy and the environment have also won prestigious awards, demonstrating the responsibility of young people towards pressing global issues.

“Stepping out into the world to bring the world to PTIT”

The most commendable achievement in 2025 is not just the medals, but the “Go Global” spirit deeply ingrained in each student. Over 400 students participated in Study Tours and internships in Japan and exchange programs in Europe (Erasmus+).

Sharing their thoughts after the competition in Australia, a representative of PTIT students stated: “When we stepped onto the international stage, we realized that the knowledge foundation at the Academy is very solid. What’s important is confidence and adaptability. Today’s achievement is a motivation for us to continue our journey to becoming global citizens.”

The brilliant achievements of our students in 2025 are the result of PTIT’s innovative educational strategy, focusing on practical skills and strengthening international cooperation. Each international award is a building block contributing to the PTIT brand on the world education map, while also strongly inspiring future generations of students to confidently venture out into the wider world.
