The P – INNOVATION 2024 has come to a successful conclusion, with outstanding teams receiving awards from the judging panel. The event, held on May 15th in Hanoi, featured innovative and meaningful ideas that have the potential to make a positive impact on the community.
The competition was made possible with support from important partners of PTIT. Through collaboration between PTIT and the University of Technology Sydney, the top-performing team will have the opportunity to participate in the 2024 Coding Fest competition in Australia. As a result, the University of Technology Sydney appointed 02 professors to participate as judges in the final round of the P – INNOVATION 2024.
Notably, the competition also received sponsorship from NAVER Group (Korea), continuing the collaboration on artificial intelligence initiatives between PTIT and NAVER since 2021. NAVER has significantly supported and invested in research and training activities related to artificial intelligence at PTIT, contributing to important advancements and positive changes within the institution.
The P – INNOVATION 2024 is a meaningful initiative by PTIT with the aim of promoting entrepreneurial spirit and innovation among students.
The competition consisted of two rounds:
1. The Voting Round conducted directly on the competition’s fan page
2. The extremely dynamic final round featuring two impressive components: the Exhibition Round and the Pitching Round.

During the Exhibition Round, teams had the opportunity to showcase demo/real products, allowing them to engage with businesses and providing a platform for networking, learning, and acquiring new knowledge among students. The exhibition attracted a significant number of students from both PTIT and other institutions who came to explore the products and vote for their favorite teams.
From the 7 outstanding teams in the final round, the judging panel, consisting of 5 members including:
- Pro. Dr. Zhiyong Wang – Deputy Director of the Sydney Computer Center, Director of the Multimedia Computing Laboratory, University of Sydney.
- Pro. Dr. Ying Zhou – Lecturer, School of Computer Science, University of Sydney.
- Associate Professor. Dr. Phan Quoc Nguyen – Lecturer at the National University of Hanoi
- Dr. Tran Tien Cong – Head of the Computer Science Department, Faculty of ICT1
- Dr. Nguyen Viet Hung – Head of the Radio Information Department – VT1 Faculty, Director of the Innovation and Creativity Center – Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology
- Mr. Nguyen Huu An – Co-founder of TESO Company
First Prize was awarded to team ALDA AI for their idea “Digital Human” – a system representing digitized human beings through AI, providing visual interaction with users in real-time, creating a natural and vivid communication experience. This year’s new feature is that the First Prize-winning team will have the opportunity to participate in the upcoming Coding Fest competition in Australia.
Pro. Dr. Tu Minh Phuong, President of the Council of the Academy, presented the First Prize to the ALDA AI team.
Second Prize was awarded to team CoSign for their solution “Sign Language Application for Deaf and Mute People.”
Associate Professor. Dr. Tran Quang Anh, Vice Director of PTIT, awarded the Second Prize.
Third Prize was awarded to team UDU_S4C for their idea “Smart Recruiting S-REC” and team FUTURE for their idea “Machine Learning Antenna – The Future of Wireless Connectivity.”
The Organizing Committee awarded the Third Prize to the UDU_S4C team and the FUTURE team.
Additionally, three Encouragement Prizes were awarded to teams presenting ideas such as “Exam Tracker” – a system designed to prevent exam cheating using AI to monitor abnormal behavior; “PTIT_Connector” with their idea “Safe and Smart Real Estate Investment Platform – Housing Connector”; and team Anne with their solution “Anne Virtual Assistant – Personal Virtual Assistant.”
The Organizing Committee also presented the Encouragement Awards.
The “Most Popular Product” Prize was awarded to team Anne for their solution “Anne Virtual Assistant – Personal Virtual Assistant.”
The Organizing Committee awarded the Most Favorite Product prize.
The P – INNOVATION 2024 is a meaningful initiative launched by PTIT with the purpose of promoting entrepreneurial spirit and innovation among students, equipping them with knowledge and skills to develop innovative products during their training at the Institute. Furthermore, the competition aims to encourage, seek, and support projects with completed products among students, leading up to Vietnam Science and Technology Day 2024.
