In addition to the Gold medal won by student Do Hai Long from Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology (PTIT), the Vietnamese student delegation participating in the final round of the 2025 World Office Computing Championship also won a Bronze medal.
The national organizing committee of the 2025 World Office Computing Championship has just officially announced the results of the Vietnamese student delegation participating in the global final round held in Orlando, Florida (USA) from July 27 to July 30.
All 6 Vietnamese contestants participating in the MOSWC 2025 finals are in the world’s Top 10 in the competition categories.
In the final results, the Vietnamese team won 1 Gold medal, 1 Bronze medal and all 6 contestants were in the world’s top 10 in the competition. Thanks to that, the Vietnamese team was named in the Top 5 strongest MOS teams in the world.
Specifically, Do Hai Long, a student at PTIT, was the contestant who brought the MOSWC 2025 Gold medal in the MOS Word 365 Apps category for the Vietnamese team. The excellent contestant who won the Bronze medal in the MOS Excel 365 Apps category in the MOSWC 2025 competition was Luong Son Tung, a student at the Foreign Trade University.
Do Hai Long, a student of course D22, majoring in Financial Technology at PTIT, has won the Gold Medal in the MOS Word 365 Apps contest.
Do Hai Long’s journey to become the world champion began in 11th grade and in his first time participating in the MOSWC, he won the third prize in the national MOS Word 2016 competition. After 4 years of persistent study with a passion for the IT field, Do Hai Long has fulfilled his dream of raising the Vietnamese flag high in the US.
Sharing his feelings after the award ceremony on the evening of July 30, Do Hai Long Long said: “I was very surprised and very moved when I heard my name won the Gold medal. This is an achievement I have achieved after my tireless efforts since the first time participating in the competition and is also a motivation for me to continue trying in the future.”
With the impressive results that the Vietnamese delegation just achieved at the MOSWC 2025 final, the list of achievements of Vietnamese students in the playground of skills in using office computer applications continues to grow. To date, Vietnamese students have won 23 world medals, including 5 Gold medals, 4 Silver medals, 14 Bronze medals and many high rankings in the world’s top 10.
