Opportunities to study and work across borders
To implement the international training development strategy for the period 2021-2025 and vision to 2030, the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology has been implementing many activities such as strengthening international joint training programs. , opening new high-quality training programs taught in English, promoting international cooperation programs to exchange lecturers and students, etc. To date, the Academy has had 5 international cooperation programs presented. University degree, 1 Master’s program taught in English for international students, 3 high-quality programs in English and 1 training program oriented to the international market (Japanese market).
Especially for many years now, the school has promoted internship and exchange programs abroad. Specifically, students have the opportunity to participate in real projects of businesses abroad with experts and students from many different countries. Through that, students develop intercultural skills, analytical and critical thinking, leadership capacity, and professional working style. In 2023, the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology had nearly 50 students participating in student exchange activities, interns, and participating in competitions abroad. From the PTIT launch pad, reaching out to the world
The Academy’s alumni community is currently present in many countries around the world such as the US, UK, Germany, Japan, Korea, Australia… to pursue higher education or start a career in your country. Many alumni have returned to Vietnam and returned to the Academy to continue contributing to the scientific cause of their country.
Former student Dang Hoang Long, course D14 in Information Technology, has just completed the PhD course in Computer Science at the Institute of Artificial Intelligence Applications – Deakin University (Australia), said that along with the orientations of Academy teachers, from a timid, introverted student, I boldly “stepped out into the world”, escaping my “safety zone” to conquer the world’s knowledge base. Returning to the Academy, returning to the school where the dream of “going out into the world” took off, Hoang Long hopes that he will continue to inspire and be a bridge to support the Academy’s engineering students to continue. Former student Nguyen Thang Hai An – Electrical and Electronics Engineering Technology major of the Academy who won an Erasmus scholarship in Italy shared: During the 6 months studying at Palermo University, Hai’s biggest worry was An is overcoming the barrier of language. In addition to using technical English in studying, you must also have a basic grasp of Italian to be able to communicate in daily life with the local community. However, through practical experience in an international environment, the language barrier is not as difficult as imagined. With valuable lessons and unique experiences from studying in Italy, An has a clear direction, opening up many opportunities for her future career. Currently, Hai An is joining hands to start a business with a group of colleagues, focusing on developing software technology and Internet of Things services in the capital Hanoi.
Receiving the great joy of being exported to Australia to participate in the Code Fest competition of the University of Sydney, Australia, student Tran Duc Quan – student of class E21CQCN03-B representing the ALDA AI competition team has just won the first prize of the Product Idea Competition. It is known that from the beginning of 2024 until now, the Academy has sent 10 students to participate in the Hackathon competition in Korea. In addition to the 3 students who will go to Australia to compete in the Innovation Competition, the Academy is also currently opening applications for 2 internships in Italy(https://htqt.ptit.edu.vn/thong-bao-hoc-bong/25). Currently, the Academy has a group of 10 students from Chung Ang University, Korea, to participate in the 2024 Hackathon held from May 16 – May 21, 2024; 6 French students came to intern for 3 months. By August 2024, there will be 10 Gunma University students coming to intern for 3 months at the Academy.
