On July 8, 2025, at the Hanoi campus of the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology (PTIT), the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee, in coordination with IIG Vietnam, solemnly held the National Award Ceremony of the MOS World Championship – Viettel 2025.
At the ceremony, the Organizing Committee honored and awarded six National Champions, outstanding young talents who will represent Vietnam at the Global Final of the MOS World Championship 2025. Among them, Do Hai Long, a student of Class D22, majoring in Financial Technology at PTIT, achieved an outstanding result by winning First Prize nationwide in the Microsoft Word 365 Apps category.
With this achievement, Do Hai Long officially becomes one of six representatives of Vietnam competing in the MOS World Championship Global Final, scheduled to take place from July 27 to July 30, 2025, in Orlando, Florida, USA. At the global stage, the Vietnamese team will compete with top contestants from nearly 100 countries and territories, vying for prestigious awards including Gold Medal (USD 8,000), Silver Medal (USD 4,000), and Bronze Medal (USD 2,000).

The Organizing Committee awards certificates to the six national champions who will advance to the global final.
Sharing his feelings after receiving the award, Hai Long said:
“I was quite surprised by this result, as this year’s exam was more challenging, especially with the integration of artificial intelligence-related content, while I did not have much time to prepare. Therefore, winning first prize truly made me feel joyful and happy that my efforts were rewarded.” Speaking about his preparation for the upcoming international competition in the United States, Hai Long added: “Traveling to the U.S.—one of the world’s leading countries—is something I never imagined. I will continue practicing, maintain a relaxed mindset, compete with full determination, and take this opportunity to learn, gain new experiences, and create unforgettable memories during my student journey.” Hai Long also shared a message with fellow PTIT students: “If you have strengths in Office Informatics, especially web programming, don’t hesitate to challenge yourself by participating in competitions like this. It could be a great launching pad for your future career.”
According to the Organizing Committee, the 2025 season attracted nearly 2,000 outstanding contestants, representing 230 teams from universities, colleges, vocational schools, and high schools nationwide.
