On February 4, 2026, at Hanoi campus, Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology (PTIT) held a meeting with a delegation from Hanbat National University, Korea. The visit opened up many new opportunities for student exchange and collaborative training at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels between the two institutions.

The meeting was part of the Institute’s internationalization strategy, aiming to promote extensive cooperation with prestigious universities in Korea. The main objective of the meeting was to discuss flexible training models that would allow PTIT students to access advanced educational environments worldwide.

The meeting took place in a formal atmosphere with the participation of representatives from both sides. Representing Hanbat University were Professor Oh Min-wook – Director of the International Affairs Office and Professor of Materials Science and Engineering, Professor Youn In-son – Director of the Korean Language and Literature Institute, along with other professors and staff members. On PTIT’s side, authorized by the leadership, Dr. Nguyen Tien Cong – Vice Dean of the Artificial Intelligence Department, Dr. Vu Duc Luong – Head of Research, Training and Cooperation, Economics Research Institute of Posts and Telecommunications, along with representatives from the Science and Technology Management & International Cooperation Department, and the Student Affairs Department, attended the meeting and working session with the delegation from Hanbat University.

During the meeting, both sides spent most of their time delving into the details of specific cooperation programs, including joint scientific research projects, student exchange programs, international competitions, summer school activities, etc., to provide students from both universities with opportunities for short-term study, cultural experience, and language skill enhancement. Participants also discussed joint university transfer programs to build optimal learning pathways for students transferring from PTIT to Hanbat and vice versa, as well as potential postgraduate cooperation such as Master’s and Doctoral programs.

The visit concluded successfully, laying a solid foundation for formal agreements to be signed in the near future, promising many practical benefits for students and faculty of both universities.
