Within the framework of the Digital Government Forum 2025 organized by the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications of Cambodia (MPTC) from December 5 – 07, 2025, a delegation from the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology (PTIT) led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Quang Anh – Vice President,, attended a bilateral exchange session between the Ministry of Science and Technology of Vietnam (MOST) and the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications of Cambodia in the capital Phnom Penh. The session aimed to promote cooperation in digital technology, human resource training, and digital transformation capacity building between the two nations. The working session was co-chaired by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang Huu Hanh – Deputy Director General of the National Digital Transformation Agency, Ministry of Science and Technology, and Dr. Sam Sethserey – Director General of the General Department of ICT, Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications of Cambodia.

During the exchange, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang Huu Hanh emphasized Vietnam’s science and technology development orientation, focusing on Artificial Intelligence (AI), Cloud Computing, and Semiconductor Technology, reflecting a commitment to accelerating digital transformation associated with innovation and international cooperation.

Representing PTIT, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Quang Anh provided an overview of the PTIT”s training and research capabilities – a national key university in engineering and technology under the Ministry of Science and Technology, with nearly 25,000 students across its two campuses in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. PTIT currently leads in training for AI, IT, Cybersecurity, Semiconductor Engineering, and Electronics and Telecommunications, while also developing numerous digital training platforms to support the training of nearly 300,000 local officials nationwide. Additionally, PTIT is implementing the Gov.MiniMBA program for leaders and senior management, directly supporting the digital transformation process in the public sector. Annually, PTIT expands learning opportunities for Cambodian students through bachelor’s, master’s, doctoral programs, and short-term courses. This activity contributes to nurturing young digital talent, promoting academic cooperation, and strengthening educational ties between Vietnam and Cambodia.
