On behalf of PTIT, Mr. Nguyen Viet Hung from the Office of Science, Technology Management and International Cooperation proposed several directions for collaboration, including: implementing training programs related to WLAN; receiving support in terms of materials and expertise from WAA; and offering the Institute’s facilities and laboratories for testing activities. PTIT also expressed its desire to leverage WAA’s partner network to expand connections with universities, training institutions, and enterprises, with the goal of participating in joint projects.

In response, WAA representatives acknowledged the strong potential for collaboration with PTIT and proposed several specific initiatives, such as inviting PTIT to join a network of research centers for academic exchange; proposing the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the participation of relevant partners; inviting PTIT to join academic expert councils; and offering short-term scholarships, internships, and student exchange opportunities at WAA laboratories. WAA also expressed its interest in working with PTIT to leverage both parties’ networks to strengthen cooperation with universities and enterprises, and to implement future research and technology application projects.
In addition to the meeting, the WAA delegation visited PTIT’s facilities and several key laboratories, including the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center, PTIT and the Australia–Vietnam Strategic Technology Center. The visit provided WAA with a clearer view of PTIT’s research and training capabilities, while enhancing mutual understanding and opening up further opportunities for collaboration.

The meeting was conducted in an open, cooperative, and productive atmosphere, paving the way for promising prospects in advancing international cooperation, research, and training in wireless networking technologies between PTIT and WAA in the near future.
