(Ninh Binh, October 28, 2025) – As part of the Vietnam International Digital Week 2025, the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology (PTIT) hosted the International Forum on Digital Human Resource Development. The event convened representatives from the Ministry of Science and Technology, international organizations, major technology corporations, and numerous experts, lecturers, and managers in the fields of training and digital transformation.

The event featured lively strategic discussion sessions and presentations, aimed at building high-quality digital human resources to serve Vietnam’s sustainable development in the digital age.

Delivering the opening remarks at the forum, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang Huu Hanh – Deputy Director General of the National Digital Transformation Agency, Ministry of Science and Technology – emphasized that digital transformation is not just about technology, but about people, skills, and a digital mindset. He stated that Vietnam is vigorously implementing the National Digital Transformation Program to 2025, with a vision to 2030, in which digital human resource development is considered a crucial pillar alongside digital infrastructure and artificial intelligence. According to Mr. Hanh, investing in people will determine the speed and success of the national digital transformation process. He also affirmed the role of the Ministry of Science and Technology in building an innovation ecosystem and creating an environment for developing young technology talents.

As the host organization, the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology demonstrated its pioneering role in connecting training institutions, enterprises, and international organizations to promote cooperation in digital human resource development. In his closing speech, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Quang Anh, Vice President of PTIT, affirmed: “At PTIT, we are proud of our mission to nurture a generation of digital citizens and digital innovators who will lead Vietnam’s journey towards a knowledge-based and sustainable economy. However, no single organization can do this alone. Developing digital human resources requires close coordination between education, business, and government.” Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Quang Anh emphasized that the outcomes of today’s discussions will be integrated by the Institute into specific research programs, training, and international collaborations, contributing to enhancing digital capabilities for learners and promoting digital transformation in education.

The forum also brought together international experts and representatives from leading technology corporations, including: Mr. Klaus Wehage – CEO of 10X Innovation Lab (USA); Mr. Yong Tae Kim – Director of LetuinEdu Vietnam; Ms. Do Thi Thu Huong – Vietnam Government Affairs Director, Intel Corporation; Mr. Tyler Shun – Education & Healthcare Solution Expert, Huawei Asia-Pacific Region; Ms. Galina Salnikova – Youth Engagement and Coordination Officer, United Nations in Vietnam; Mr. Lourino Chemane – Chairman of the Board of Directors, National Institute of Information and Communication Technologies (INTIC), Mozambique’s ICT Regulatory Authority; and Mr. Coustantins Sotomarie – INTIC Board Member, Senior Technical Administrator.

The event was also attended by representatives from state agencies, research institutes, universities, and prestigious domestic and international enterprises such as Google, the US Embassy, and VINASA. Their participation contributed to a lively dialogue, opened up multi-dimensional cooperation opportunities, and affirmed the role of the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology as a key connector and pioneer in Vietnam’s digital human resource development ecosystem.

This year’s forum provided many international perspectives on cooperation in training and developing digital human resources. PTIT presented its strategic orientation for developing Vietnam’s digital human resources through international cooperation; Mr. Klaus Wehage – a US expert on innovation education – shared insights on innovation ecosystems and the Silicon Valley model; LetuinEdu Co., Ltd (South Korea) introduced a Vietnam-Korea cooperation model for semiconductor workforce training; Intel Vietnam presented research on applying artificial intelligence to enhance digital skills and empower communities; and Huawei Vietnam introduced educational technology solutions and smart platforms to support digital talent development.

The final panel discussion, themed “Global Cooperation in Developing University-Level Digital Human Resources,” attracted significant attention from delegates, opening new opportunities for cooperation between domestic and foreign universities, research institutes, and technology enterprises. There was a consensus at the forum that to develop digital human resources effectively, Vietnam must strengthen the “academia-business-government” connection, while also investing more in training programs linked to practical application and new technologies.

The forum concluded in an enthusiastic atmosphere, affirming the position of the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology as a pioneering unit in training, research, and digital human resource development, thus contributing positively to Vietnam’s national digital transformation and international integration.
