This commitment was jointly affirmed by the President of the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology (PTIT) and the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) during their working meeting held on June 11, 2025, within the framework of the Launch Ceremony of the Vietnam–Australia Strategic Technology Centre.
At the meeting, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dang Hoai Bac, President of PTIT, and Professor Andrew Parfitt, Vice-Chancellor of UTS, exchanged views on the potential for cooperation in education, scientific research, and technology transfer, with a particular focus on information technology, telecommunications, artificial intelligence, and information security—key strengths shared by both institutions.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dang Hoai Bac highly appreciated the reputation and quality of education at UTS, one of Australia’s leading universities, and expressed PTIT’s strong desire to promote a deeper and more effective partnership, particularly through joint academic programs, student and faculty exchanges, and international research collaboration.
On behalf of UTS, Professor Andrew Parfitt, Vice-Chancellor, also expressed strong interest in expanding cooperation with PTIT—one of Vietnam’s leading institutes in technology and engineering. He highlighted opportunities for the two universities to co-organize joint academic seminars and reaffirmed UTS’s willingness to provide scholarships for outstanding PTIT students.
The meeting opened up many practical and long-term cooperation prospects between PTIT and UTS, contributing to the internationalization of higher education and the enhancement of human resource training quality in technology-related fields in Vietnam.
