On January 21, 2026, in Hanoi, the NAB Innovation Centre Vietnam (of the National Australia Bank) and Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology (PTIT) officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). This cooperation aims to promote the development of high-quality technology human resources for Vietnam and signifies a joint commitment to strengthening international cooperation, fostering innovation, and driving digital transformation.

The signing ceremony was attended by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang Minh, Deputy Minister of Science and Technology; Ms. Renee Deschamps, Chargé d’Affaires of the Australian Embassy in Vietnam; and Ms. Hanh Tran, General Director of NAB Innovation Centre Vietnam, along with representatives from various functional units.
Under the cooperation agreement, both parties will coordinate to integrate practical industry experience into training programs, expand internship and career opportunities for students, and organize career orientation activities, seminars, and professional sharing sessions featuring NAB experts.

Speaking at the event, Deputy Minister Hoang Minh emphasized: “NAB Innovation Centre Vietnam is a highly exemplary model in Vietnam that the Ministry of Science and Technology values greatly, particularly for its combination of the two most critical factors: Technology and People. The partnership between the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology and NAB not only helps improve training quality but also spreads the innovation model, making practical contributions to Vietnam’s digital transformation journey. This event is a testament to the strong relationship between Vietnam and Australia, especially following the upgrade of bilateral ties to a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership. The Ministry of Science and Technology is committed to supporting and facilitating not only the cooperation between these two units but also NAB’s other cooperative activities in Vietnam.”

Associate Professor Dr. Dang Hoai Bac, President of PTIT, affirmed: “We are very excited to accompany an enterprise with extensive experience in nurturing tech talent like NAB Vietnam. Through this MOU, both sides will jointly implement practical activities to incorporate the most up-to-date knowledge and practical experience into the Institute’s curriculum, creating conditions for students to experience a professional working environment according to international standards at NAB Vietnam.”
It is known that PTIT is currently the host institution for the Vietnam – Australia Strategic Technologies Centre, implemented based on cooperation between the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) and the Ministry of Science and Technology of Vietnam. This is considered an important foundation for promoting bilateral technology cooperation programs, including the initiative between NAB Vietnam and PTIT.
Over the past years, NAB Innovation Centre Vietnam has implemented many tech talent development programs such as StarCamp and WeCamp, supporting over 500 students in accessing real-world working environments, career mentorship, and skill development. The enterprise has also been recognized with many prestigious regional awards, such as Fortune 100 Best Companies to Work for in Southeast Asia 2025, Great Place to Work, and Asian Technology Excellence Award 2025.
