Building on the success of the partnership which began in 2022, PTIT and Temix recently rolled out an internship program for undergraduate students and provided support for graduate students studying in Italy. Both sides also discussed plans to expand and strengthen cooperative activities in the future.
As a result of the partnership initiated in 2022, by 2024, PTIT and Temix have elevated and broadened their cooperation through the signing of a trilateral Memorandum of Understanding with the University of Catania (Italy). This agreement emphasizes diverse collaborative activities in training and research between the two institutions, supported by Temix, a prestigious technology group with a long-standing presence in Italy.
In 2024, with efforts from all parties, PTIT successfully launched programs to support its students in pursuing master’s degrees at the University of Catania and internships at both the university and Temix. Four students were selected for this support. For the two master’s students at the University of Catania, Temix covered their travel and accommodation expenses throughout their study period in Italy. For the two students selected for the two-month internship program at the University of Catania and Temix, PTIT provided airfare and visa support, while Temix covered accommodation costs during the internship.
To commemorate the successful collaboration and discuss future cooperative activities, on September 28, 2024, Temix hosted a reception and working session with a delegation from PTIT at the Temix headquarters in Italy. During the visit, PTIT’s delegation engaged in fruitful discussions with Temix’s leadership and technology experts.
In the discussions with Temix, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dang Hoai Bac, President of PTIT, expressed his satisfaction with the successful launch of programs supporting students and researchers studying and interning in Italy. He emphasized that these initiatives not only provide internship, study, and cooperation opportunities but also open doors for skill and knowledge development in technical fields, particularly in telecommunications and electronics.
