Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology (PTIT) recently partnered with the Google Developer Group Hanoi (GDG Hanoi) to successfully host the Google I/O Extended Hanoi 2024 event at PTIT’s Hanoi campus.
Google I/O is an annual conference hosted by Google for developers, where leading industry experts present new features and updates on Google’s technologies in various formats. Google I/O Extended Hanoi is a local extension of the main Google I/O event held in the U.S., organized each year by GDG Hanoi for developers and technology enthusiasts in the region.
Event Highlights
In its 9th year, Google I/O Extended Hanoi 2024 aimed to update local communities on new technologies and topics tailored to their needs. The event featured Tech Talks covering a wide range of subjects, such as AI (Gemini), Android, Firebase, Flutter, and Cloud; insightful sessions with Google experts and leading Southeast Asian companies discussing emerging trends and project development strategies; a collaborative and open environment for attendees to network with GDG Hanoi’s technology partners; and 1:1 Networking, a new initiative by GDG Hanoi to facilitate meaningful connections between experts and developers. Additionally, interactive booths provided attendees with the chance to win exciting prizes.
PTIT, a leading university in ICT education in Vietnam, is committed to fostering creativity and knowledge sharing through its educational programs. As a partner of the Google Developer Group, PTIT played a key role in organizing Google I/O Extended Hanoi 2024. On July 27, PTIT will continue its collaboration with Google, hosting the technology festival “Unlock AI-Powered Cloud,” along with other exciting events at PTIT.
