On January 23, 2024, in Hanoi, the delegation of the Ministry of Education and Training of the Republic of Vanuatu visited and worked at Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology (PTIT). The delegation included: Mr. Tran Nam Trung, Consul General of the Republic of Vanuatu in Vietnam and Mr. Bergmans IATI – Director General, Ministry of Education and Training of Vanuatu and members of the delegation of the Ministry of Education and Training of the Republic of Vanuatu. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dang Hoai Bac – President of PTIT and representatives of the leaders of the units, departments and functional offices welcomed the delegation.

On behalf of PTIT’s leadership, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dang Hoai Bac expressed his pleasure to welcome the delegation of the Ministry of Education and Training to visit PTIT. Sharing information about PTIT, Associate Professor, Dr. Dang Hoai Bac said: With the strength of having 2 training facilities in the 2 largest cities in the country, Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, PTIT is a pioneer in opening training programs in Information Security, Multimedia Technology, Financial Technology… Currently, at PTIT, there are many international students studying and PTIT is always ready to welcome international students to study and research… The President of PTIT also affirmed that PTIT has the strength of connecting with large technology companies, so training and research activities will be strongly supported.
As the representative of the Vanuatu Ministry of Education and Training, Mr. Bergmans IATI expressed great expectations for the cooperative relationship with PTIT and shared: “Cooperation with a prestigious university like PTIT is an important goal in the strategy to improve the quality of education in Vanuatu. We hope that, through training cooperation and academic exchange programs, Vanuatu students will have the opportunity to develop more comprehensively.”
At the meeting, the two sides focused on discussing the potential for cooperation in areas such as student and scholar exchange, scientific research cooperation, implementing teacher training courses, especially application-oriented training programs for Vanuatu students to contribute to the training of key human resources for the Republic of Vanuatu.
