Within the framework of the state visit to Korea, on August 12, at the Vietnam – Korea Economic Forum with the theme “Cooperation to develop production chains in the new era!”, General Secretary To Lam and Korean Prime Minister Kim Min Seok, along with high-ranking delegates of the two countries, witnessed the handover of cooperation agreements between Vietnam and Korea, including the handover of a cooperation agreement between the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology (PTIT) and Chung Ang University (CAU).

Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology and Chung Ang University exchanged cooperation agreements witnessed by General Secretary To Lam and Korean Prime Minister Kim Min Seok.

The agreement between PTIT and CAU aims at comprehensive cooperation in training high-quality human resources, exchanging lecturers and students, applied research and technology transfer. The two universities focus on cooperation in dual-degree training in the Multimedia Technology undergraduate program, establishing a training model for the Vietnam-Korea Virtual Convergence School and researching and developing technology applications in the cultural industry.

Associate Professor Dr. Dang Hoai Bac, President of Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology and Professor Dr. Park Sang Gue, President of Chung Ang University signed the cooperation agreement.

The signing is not only an important milestone in the bilateral cooperation relationship but also contributes to concretizing the strategic orientation of the leaders of Vietnam and Korea, making science – technology, innovation, and digital transformation the central driving force of development.

In particular, the signing took place right before the witness of General Secretary To Lam and Prime Minister Kim Min Seok, demonstrating strong support from the highest level, encouraging the parties to quickly and effectively implement the cooperation contents.

Chung Ang University is one of the leading training institutions in Korea, established in 1918, currently has more than 33,600 students and cooperative relations with more than 70 universities in 20 countries. The cooperation agreement between PTIT and CAU is expected to contribute to developing high-quality human resources, promoting innovation and bringing practical values to the socio-economic development of the two countries.
