On 26th February, in Hanoi, the delegation of Volgograd State Technical University (Russian Federation) visited and worked at the Post and Telecommunications Institute of Technology (PTIT). The delegation included Professor Grigory Vladimirovich Boyko, Acting Vice Rector for International Relations and Professor Maxim Vladimirovich Shcherbakov, Head of the Department of CAD Systems & Search Engineering, Faculty of Electronics and Computer Engineering. Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Quang Anh – Vice President of PTIT and representatives of the leaders of the units, departments and functional offices welcomed the delegation.

On behalf of PTIT’s leadership, Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Quang Anh was pleased to welcome the delegation of Volgograd State Technical University to visit PTIT and also expressed his hope that in the coming time, the two universities will have official cooperation activities in training and research activities of strengths.

At the meeting, the two sides agreed on the directions of cooperation in the coming time. Accordingly, the two universities will organize scientific conferences, share experiences in commercializing research products, develop student exchange programs, develop transfer programs and joint training, cooperate in implementing joint research projects, especially in the strengths of both universities such as Artificial Intelligence and Information Security.

Volgograd State Technical University is a higher education institution in Volgograd, a leading higher education institution in the Volga region, a major scientific center in Southern Russia, one of the leading technical universities in the Russian Federation. Founded in 1929, Volgograd State Technical University is a modern multi-campus university with a promising educational, scientific and industrial infrastructure (large information center and library, research and production facilities, multimedia classrooms, laboratories with modern equipment, etc.). About 20,000 students are currently studying at the university, under the instruction and guidance of more than 1,200 teachers, including 2 Academicians of the Russian Academy of Sciences, RAS, 3 Academicians of the Russian Academy of Engineering Sciences, 232 professors – doctors of science and 725 associate professors – doctors of specialized subjects.
