On May 14, 2024, in Hanoi, the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology (Academy) signed a cooperation agreement with EON Reality Vietnam Joint Stock Company. Attending the ceremony were Mr. Tran Duc Lai – Former Deputy Minister of Information and Communications (Ministry of Information and Communications), Chairman of Vietnam Radio and Electronics Association; On the Academy’s side, there were: Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Quang Anh, Deputy Director of the Academy, Associate Professor, Dr. Hoang Huu Hanh, Director of the International Training Center; On the side of EON Reality Vietnam Joint Stock Company, there are: Mr. Tang Ngoc Truong An – Chairman of EON Reality Vietnam Joint Stock Company; Mr. Nguyen Hong Son – General Director of the Company, Mr. Dan Lejerskar – Chairman of the global EON Reality Group.

According to the signed cooperation agreement, the Academy will use the EON-XR Platform provided by EON Reality Vietnam Joint Stock Company in teaching and learning, to improve training quality. Along with that, the two sides cooperate together to build digital university solutions, serving the purpose of digital transformation in education and training. Implementing an outsourcing project to produce digital learning materials for training and educational institutions and global users on the EON-XR platform. Applying new digital transformation technology in training and teaching. The Academy and EON Reality Vietnam Joint Stock Company will jointly expand the common market, diversify cooperation models and projects in training and teaching. In addition, EON Reality Vietnam Joint Stock Company and the Academy jointly invested and established the first Spatial Artificial Intelligence Center (“Spatial AI Center”) in Vietnam. This Space Artificial Intelligence Center will be headquartered at the Academy and equipped with the most advanced labs, VR, AR, and AI devices to serve research, development, and application. Applying virtual reality technology, augmented reality, and artificial intelligence technology solutions in training and teaching.
