Within the framework of the cooperation program between the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology (PTIT) and the University of Catania and TEMIX Company (Italy), on February 20, 2025, PTIT solemnly welcomed a delegation of professors and experts from the University of Catania, TEMIX and Uni-Italia and organized a seminar on scholarship opportunities for studying and doing internships in Italy for students of PTIT.
Attending the working program, on the side of the Italian partners, there was Professor Alfio Lombardo, University of Catania as head of the delegation, along with Mr. Armando Caravella, General Director and Founder of TEMIX, professors and experts from the University of Catania, TEMIX and Uni-Italia. On the side of PTIT, there were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dang Hoai Bac, President of PTIT, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Quang Anh, Vice President of PTIT and leaders of faculties and departments.

At the meeting, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dang Hoai Bac, President of PTIT, expressed his joy at welcoming the delegation to visit, work and organize a discussion program with students and lecturers of PTIT of Italian partners. The President of PTIT also emphasized that the parties will strengthen and expand cooperation in the training strengths of the two schools, and expressed his appreciation for the opportunities for students that the cooperation program between PTIT and its partners has brought.
Overview of the working session
The Seminar attracted more than 300 students and lecturers of PTIT. At the seminar, professors and experts shared a lot of useful information about Italian education, study opportunities and scholarships in Italy and especially the University of Catania. In particular, the seminar also created opportunities for many students of PTIT to exchange and learn from the experiences of students who are being actively supported in their current studies in Italy and students who have completed their internship program in Italy with very good results.

The seminar received great attention from PTIT’s students, especially those who are looking for opportunities to develop in an international environment. Many questions were raised by the students about the scholarship application process, recruitment requirements and life studying abroad in Italy. The seminar not only opened new doors for PTIT’s students but also strengthened the cooperative relationship between PTIT and its partners in Italy. This is an important step in connecting students with international study and work opportunities, contributing to the strong development of PTIT in the process of global integration.

Previously, in 2024, with the efforts of all parties, the program to support PTIT students studying master’s programs at the University of Catania and the internship program for Academy students at the University of Catania were implemented with the result that 04 students were selected for support.
