A delegation from the Post and Telecommunications Institute of Technology (PTIT), led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dang Hoai Bac, President of PTIT, recently visited and held discussions with Thu Dau Mot University. The delegation included leaders from PTIT’s specialized faculties and administrative departments.

Key Highlights of the Meeting Representing Thu Dau Mot University were Dr. Doan Ngoc Xuan, Rector, along with leaders from the Department of Science and International Cooperation and the Institute of Engineering and Technology.

The leaders of both institutions shared insights about their development journeys and strengths, engaging in discussions about potential collaborations. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dang Hoai Bac highlighted PTIT’s achievements in digital transformation and expressed willingness to share expertise with Thu Dau Mot University. The proposed areas of collaboration include: Implementing digital transformation solutions in university operations and governance. Applying digital transformation in teaching activities. Developing joint training programs to enhance digital transformation capabilities. Conducting research projects on digital transformation in education to build successful digital university models. Dr. Dang Hoai Bac emphasized a broader vision: collaborating on research projects that support the socio-economic development of Binh Duong province, the Southeast region, and the nation.

Dr. Doan Ngoc Xuan, Rector of Thu Dau Mot University, expressed enthusiasm for the collaboration, recognizing digital transformation as a critical element in the university’s development strategy. He shared that the university is committed to implementing digital transformation in all operations, including partnerships with consulting units, investments in technological infrastructure, and innovative university governance practices. Acknowledging PTIT’s success in digital transformation, Dr. Xuan expressed hope for transferring PTIT’s digital solutions to Thu Dau Mot University and developing collaborative projects in governance, education, and research.

The meeting concluded with an agreement to draft a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) outlining collaboration in science and technology, training, and practical application projects aimed at supporting local communities and fostering development.
