Recently, the Samsung Vietnam Research and Development Center (SRV) organized a ceremony to award the Samsung STP Talent Scholarships to students from universities across Vietnam. Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology (PTIT) had the most students receiving the STP scholarship in this round, with 13 students.

Among the 13 students receiving the Samsung STP Talent Scholarship 2024, 12 are from the Information Technology major, and 1 is from the Multimedia Technology major.

Scholarship Benefits
Students from PTIT who received the 2024 STP Talent Scholarship will be awarded scholarships valued at 3,000 USD, sponsored by Samsung Vietnam. In addition, these students will have the opportunity to undergo intensive training, participate in internships focused on new technological projects, and receive guidance from experienced engineers at SRV. They will also receive training in advanced programming and algorithms, helping to strengthen their specialized knowledge before graduation.

All students awarded the STP scholarship have completed the Applied Algorithms course organized by the Faculty of Information Technology 1 in collaboration with Samsung SRV, achieving excellent results.

Representatives of PTIT’s faculties and functional departments attended the ceremony along with the students receiving the 2024 Samsung STP Talent Scholarship.

PTIT is one of the universities in Northern Vietnam benefiting from the “Samsung Talent Program” (STP 2024). To date, nearly 150 PTIT students have received this prestigious scholarship.

Comprehensive Cooperation Agreement
The STP 2024 scholarship program is part of the comprehensive cooperation agreement between PTIT and Samsung Electronics Vietnam for the 2023–2025 period. According to the agreement signed on December 8, 2022, in addition to continuing the STP scholarship program, PTIT and Samsung will jointly implement collaborative research projects in mobile technology, short training courses on Applied Algorithms, and other short-term courses on IoT, Big Data, Security, Embedded Systems, and more for PTIT students.
